Sara does not enjoy writing about herself in 3rd person, but does enjoy creating content containing queer characters with long bios that will inspire audiences and touch at least one lonely LGBTQIA kid out there like she was. She sees you, hears you and hopes you know you are loved.
Sara is an award-winning film director and photographer whose work contains positive ulterior motives of helping others. Always craving queer cinema, her first internship was with NewFest and later with GLAAD in NYC where she learned first-hand of film's power to change hearts and minds. She received her B.A. from Monmouth University and her M.F.A. from the University of Miami after making an award-winning debut as a Writer/Director with her first short film “Aurora”.
She has had the fortune of directIng various music videos, commercials, web series and award-winning short films since, including a short with the University of Miami and the Stephen King FoundatIon that won Best Short Film at both Shriekfest and New York City Horror Film Festival.
Originally from Cape May, New Jersey she currently resides in Los Angeles, California. When she's not compulsively creating or binging content, she is either on the street protesting for systemic equality, in the ocean or directing her cat with a camera.
